We work with small and businesses in midsize business in Southern California and throughout the United States. Our clients are typically established, growing businesses with $5 million or more in annual revenue, a team of employees, and healthy cash flow. We frequently work with businesses in the healthcare and professional services industries.
What types of business aren’t the best fit for our team?
At Momentum CFO, we value transparency and creating lasting relationships with our clients. We don’t work with early stage startups or companies that accept payment in cryptocurrency.

The first step in our process to getting your finances organized and giving your business momentum is to determine your business’s financial health. During the Health Check process, we analyze your finances in several core areas, as described here. We thoroughly document our observations and recommendations and create a prioritized action plan to help your company succeed moving forward.
How much do CFO services cost?
The Momentum CFO Financial Health Check™ is a crucial first step that fully assesses the company’s financial health, provides solutions to problems, and sets a prioritized timeline of activities for ongoing partnership / CFO services. When you hire Momentum CFO, you’re investing in your business’s financial future, and you should expect a return on your investment. The benefits our services bring to your business often exceed the cost of our services.
No one wants to be surprised by their bill at the end of the month, so we don’t charge hourly. Instead, we charge a flat fee for the Momentum CFO Financial Health Check™, which typically starts at $7,500. Most of our clients retain us to provide financial guidance on an ongoing basis. We also charge a flat monthly fee for outsourced CFO services. Pricing for outsourced CFO services is generally between $3,000 and $8,000 per month, depending on your business’s size, complexity, and unique financial needs.
Do you work onsite or remotely?
We do most of our work remotely, allowing us to serve clients throughout the United States. We use Zoom and online meeting scheduling tools to make your virtual experience just as fantastic as in-person interactions. No problem! As a financial consultant for many small businesses, we serve as the quarterback for your financial team. We partner with your bookkeeper, tax preparer, banker, insurance broker, and others to ensure we fulfill your financial needs.
